Propagate Edits

If you change the spelling of a main heading (or subheading) during the editing of your index, you might be tempted to use the Find/Replace feature of SKY Index to make the change. In most cases, it is probably better and much faster to use the Propagate Edits command (Ctrl+Alt+Enter). For instance, if you have the main heading 'print' and you wish to change it to 'printing'. You can simply make the edit and instead of pressing Enter or Tab to commit the edit, press Ctrl+Alt+Enter instead. That will cause SKY Index to change all entries that match the current entry up to the level of the heading you modified.
